Episode 27 - Hypno’s Naptime

Here is episode 27 of Pokemon…

After defeating Erika, the team arrived at a new city when they heard of news of children going missing.

When they decided to help Officer Jenny investigate, they found out that the Pokemon in the Centre were all tired.

Suddenly, Officer Jenny detected some sleep waves emitting from outside. There sleep waves caused Pikachu to be tired too.

They then traced the waves to the top of a building. They then found out the source was actually Hypno. Misty decided to try out its hypnotic powers and got hypnotized.

She then ran off with the rest following closely. They then found out that the children being exposed to the waves thought they were Pokemon.

One of the Pokemon Lovers club members suggested that they used Drowzee’s powers to awaken the children. The idea worked.

Just when they were about to rescue the other children, Team Rocket barged in and demanded the two hypnosis Pokemons. Luckily, Ash was able to get rid of them.

In the end, all the children recovered and were reunited with their parents.

Episode 26 - Pokemon Scent-sation!

I bring to you episode 26 of Pokemon…

As a result of insulting perfume, Ash was not allowed to step inside the Celedon Gym to challenge Erika.

Desperate, he teamed up with Team Rocket to sneak him inside the gym. Team Rocket then dressed him as a girl and enrolled him in Erika’s Pokemon training class.

Unluckily, Pikachu recognize Ash and busted him out. Seeing Ash wanted the battle, Erika accepted the challenge. After fighting two battles, it ends with a draw. Just when the third battle was about to start, Team Rocket interrupted.

Seems like when Ash was distracting Erika, Team Rocket took the chance to find the “secret perfume formula”. They even planted a bomb and within seconds, the whole gym was on fire.

All humans and Pokemons evacuated and worked together to put out the fire. However, Gloom was still trapped inside. Ash then rushed in to save Gloom, earning the gratitude and even the badge from Erika.

Too bad for Team Rocket that what they stole was not the secret perfume…

Episode 25 - Primeape goes Bananas

Episode 25 of Pokemon…

Dejected after hearing that all the trainers from Pallet had already earned their fifth badge and caught lots more Pokemon, Ash was even more determined to surpass them, especially Gary.

While eating, Ash caught sight of a Mankey and threw a Pokeball, hoping to catch it. However, he failed and made the Mankey very angry. The Mankey chased Ash and beat him up, stealing his cap while doing so.

Ash, having his precious cap stolen from him, was even more determined to fight it out with Mankey. Suddenly, Team Rocket appeared and James kicked Mankey, angering it furthermore. Mankey then involved into Primeape.

Primeape, after bashing up Team Rocket, started chasing Ash again. Tired of escaping, Ash tried to capture it. Squirtle and Bulbasaur attacks were no use and Ash chose Charmander and defeated Primeape. Pikachu also saved Ash’s cap.

In the end Ash managed to capture Primeape and reached Celedon City.

Episode 24 – Haunter vs Kadabra

I bring to you episode 24 of Pokemon…

Confident of winning with Haunter around, Ash once again challenge Sabrina to another match. However Haunter suddenly disappeared and Ash’s Pokemon did not want to fight against Sabrina, thus Ash decided to forfeit, leaving Sabrina very angry.

Ash and his Pokemon managed to escape with Sabrina’s father’s help but Brock and Misty got turned into dolls by Sabrina.

Sabrina’s father then revealed the truth behind Sabrina’s past and urged Ash to find Haunter if he wants to save his friends. On the other side, Misty and Brock found themselves back into the dollhouse, but this time there was someone else with them. It was Sabrina’s mother!

Finally found Haunter, Ash returned for another rematch. However just before the match started, Haunter disappeared again. Pikachu then decided to protect Ash and fight in Haunter’s place.

In the middle of the battle, Haunter showed up. It decided to make Sabrina laughed and it worked. Thus Ash won his fourth badge, since Sabrina is laughing too hard to fight.

Episode 23 – The Tower of Terror

Here is episode 23 of Pokemon…

In order to defeat Sabrina’s psychic Pokemon, Ash traveled to Lavender Town to catch some ghost Pokemon.

After gathering much courage, the team went into the Pokemon Tower. They were then treated to a “warm” welcome by the ghost trio: Gastly, Haunter and Gengar.

Too scared to go into the Tower again, Misty and Brock backed out, leaving only Ash to deal with the ghost Pokemon.

Once again, Ash ventured bravely into the Pokemon Tower. This time he finally met all three ghost Pokemon, however resulting in him and Pikachu’s soul leaving their bodies.

The ghost trio then brought them to their play area. Then Ash realized that the trio just wanted to have some fun but he could not fulfill their wishes as he got to fulfill his own dream too. Therefore, the ghost trio returned them back to their bodies.

In the end, Haunter decided to follow Ash on his journey while Gastly and Gengar decided to play around with poor Team Rocket.

Episode 22 - Abra and the Psychic Showdown

Okay..here is episode 22 of Pokemon…

In this episode, the team finally reached Saffron City, with the help of a strange girl, and Ash wanted to challenge the gym for his fourth badge.

However, just when the team stepped into the city, Team Rocket tricked them into a trap, and captured Pikachu. Luckily, the strange girl helped them again, transporting them directly in front of the gym.

When they were about to challenge the gym, an old man came to warn them about the danger for challenging Sabrina. However, Ash did not heed to his advice and lost terribly to Sabrina.

They then became dolls for Sabrina to play. Luckily, the old man came back to save them. Ash wanted the old man to teach him the method of defeating Sabrina. Seeing that Ash showed great determination, the old man finally gave him a clue: Catch a ghost Pokemon.

Episode 21 - Bye Bye Butterfree

I bring to you episode 21 of Pokemon…

Today, we get to see the Butterfree mating season. Ash urged his own Butterfree to go find a mate of its own. When Ash’s Butterfree found a pink Butterfree that it liked, it tried to court her. However, the pink Butterfree rejected all the advances, leaving Ash’s Butterfree heartbroken.

Just then, the hateful Team Rocket decided to catch all the Butterfrees, destroying their mating season. When the pink Butterfree got captured too, Ash’s Butterfree used all its might to try and stop Team Rocket.

The pink Butterfree was touched by Ash’s Butterfree bravery and decided to return its feelings. However, in order to carry on to make babies, Ash’s Butterfree got to leave.

Therefore, Ash and his Butterfree says goodbye to each other. (aw…that is like so sad..Ash even cried!!!)

Episode 20 – The Ghost of Maidens Peak

This is episode 20 of Pokemon…

The team finally reached Maidens Peak, where they encountered a ghost that exists from 2000 years ago.

Being captivated by the beautiful ghost, Brock and James fall under her trap. It was then the ghost decided to reveal her true form: Gastly.

In the end, it was showed that Gastly wasn’t so bad after all. It just wanted the people to remember the old tales of the Maiden. Well, it was also interested in earning money too…

Episode 19 - Tentacool & Tentacruel

I bring to you Episode 19 of Pokemon…
(from now on I refer Ash, Misty and Brock as the team..)

After missing the only ferry back to the mainland, the team saw a bruised Horsea, warning them about something. Without warning, a boat blew up and Misty quickly sent her Pokemon to save them.

They then find themselves faced with an arrogant old woman who wanted to destroy the Tentacools who were preventing her from building her luxury resort.

When the team refused to help her (well Misty is the one refusing…), she gathered lots of people to fight with the Tentacools, including Team Rocket.

Enraged by the humans who were destroying their homes, the Tentacools, led by a giant Tentacruel, began invading the city.

After being touched by Horsea’s effort to try and stop the invasion, the team sent their Pokemon to chased the Tentacools back to the ocean.

With Pikachu’s and Misty’s pleas, the giant Tentacruel finally returned to the ocean, sending the old woman flying on the way.

Episode 18 - Beauty and the Beach

Episode 18 of Pokemon!!!

Here Ash and his friends arrived at a beach and was planning to enjoy it. However, they accidentally destroyed a old man's boat and dock, thus they have to work to pay for the damages. Incidentally, Team Rocket was working in the old man's enemy's shop.

When Ash and his friends tried to get more customers, Team Rocket sabotaged them. Thus, causing all the customers to run away. Just when the old man was just about to give up hope, Professor Oak came in and gave them a fabulous idea to boost the business.

The idea worked but the old man's enemy sent Team Rocket to mess things up. However with Ash's quick thinking, he managed to stop Team Rocket and even destroyed the evil woman's shop.

In the end, the old man got to fufill his dream.

Episode 17 - Island of the Giant Pokemon

I bring to you Episode 17 of Pokemon...

After being swept off by the cyclone, Ash and his friends got washed ashore onto a island. However Pikachu, Bulbusaur, Charmander and Squirtle were missing. Team Rocket also arrived at the island to find Meowth and their Pokemon missing too. All the lost Pokemon met up and were somewhere in the island.

To make things worse, the humans and their Pokemon found themselves chased by gigantic Pokemons?

They then realised that those giant Pokemon were just robots. The island they were actually on is called Pokemon Land and was owned by the Team Rocket's boss. Unfortunately, the land was thoroughly destroyed. (it is ironic that the Team Rocket themselves accidentally destroyed that island....)

Episode 16 - Pokemon Shipwreck

Here is Episode 16 of Pokemon...

Ash and his gang and Team Rocket were still trapped in St Anne. In order to get out safely, they decided to have a temporary truce and work together to escape. (But it seems like only Ash and his gang are doing all the work....)

When they finally got out the ship after solving quite a few obstacles (well...Team Rocket barely got out...), they met with bigger trouble. James had enraged his Magikarp and it evolved into a Gyarados. (oh great...more trouble...)

At the end, all of them were swept off by Gyarados most powerful attack, Dragon Rage.

Episode 15 - Battle Aboard the St. Anne

Episode 15 of Pokemon...

This time, Ash and his gang got on the St Anne through a "free ticket"? However, they did not know that it was the plan of the Team Rocket. Team Rocket planned to steal all Pokemon from the trainers who were aboard on the cruise ship.

Before the ambush, Ash had traded his Butterfree for a Ratticate with a unknown man who just battled with him. However, he regretted the decision of trading his butterfree. After, all the trainers worked together to defeat Team Rocket. Ash was more determined to get back his butterfree.

While Ash was trading back, the ship started sinking and people were evacuating. Unfortunately, Ash and his gang, together with Jessie, James and Meowth, did not get out safely and sank to the bottom with the ship. Will they get out safely? Catch the next episode...

Episode 14 - Electric Shock Showdown

And here is Episode 14 of Pokemon.

In this episode, Ash and his friends had finally reached Vermilion city. (I can’t believe they were lost for two weeks…)

Ash was psyched about getting his third badge. However, the gym leader this time was for real and will not easily give Ash the Thunder badge. This gym had already defeated lots of trainers.

However, Ash did not back down and was determined to win this match. Pikachu was not too sure after seeing all the injured Pokemon that returned from the battle with Surge.

Pikachu was then enraged when Surge and his Raichu underestimate it. Pikachu then challenge Raichu to a fight but lost miserably.

At the Pokemon Centre, Pikachu rejected the idea of evolving and was even more determined on defeating Raichu by just its own power. Surprisingly, Team Rocket was touched by Pikachu’s will and decided to cheer for it.

Using Raichu’s weakness of being slow, Pikachu slowly gained an advantage and defeated it. In the end, Ash earned his third badge while deepening his friendship with Pikachu. Luckily, Team Rocket did not do anything bad this time. (Keep up the good work…!!! lolz)

Episode 13 - Mystery at the Lighthouse

Okay..here's episode 13 of Pokemon.

In this episode, we get to meet the young Pokemon researcher, Bill. After Ash finally caught his seventh pokemon and got it transferred to Professor Oak's lab, Ash was very worried about his newly-caught Krabby. Therefore, they travelled to the lighthouse, seeking for telephone and shelter.

After the conversation with Oak, Ash discovered he was way behind Gary and the lighthouse he was in actually belonged to Bill, a pokemon researcher. After helping Bill out of the costume, he told Ash and his friends about the Pokemon in this world and that there were many more still out there, waiting to be found.

Incidentally, Bill wanted to find the mysterious Pokemon who was calling across the ocean. When he finally had the chance to meet that gigantic and rare pokemon, (is that a Dragonite? looks like it to me...) it was being chase away by Team Rocket's attack. (once again, they spoil the day...thanks to the Team Rocket!)

However, Bill did not give up and instead was more determined to find more about that mysterious Pokemon. He also encouraged Ash to strive harder to become the Pokemon Master.

Anyway, did you guys catch the cloud that looks like the mysterious Pokemon just before the ending song start? (cool right?)

Episode 12 - Here comes the Squirtle Squad

I bring you episode 12 of Pokemon, Here comes the Squirtle Squad.

In this episode, we get to see a group of Squirtle gang. (with nice fashion? Lolz) As they were abandoned by their trainers, they went wild on the city, destroying, stealing and any bad thing you could name of. (in our world, they are called gangster or punks)

Being tricked by Team Rocket, they caught Ash and his friends, while seriously hurting Pikachu in the process. Ash, desperate to save his friend, struck a deal with the Squirtle leader. (the only one with different glasses) Due to a time limit, Ash rushed to the nearest town for potions.

When Ash came back, he realized everything was a scam and the Squirtles would not really hurt people as they just want to play. However, Pikachu was taken away by Team Rocket.

Ash and the Squirtle leader, who was grateful to Ash for saving his life, worked together to save Pikachu. Although they saved Pikachu, the whole forest was on fire and it was spreading quickly.

With the help of the Squirtle Squad, the fire was extinguished quickly and they were awarded. In the end, the Squirtle leader decided to join Ash on his adventure.

Episode 11

Here’s another episode of Pokemon…To sum it up, its about Ash meeting a charmander which was abandoned by its trainer (that stupid guy!!!!) during their journey to vermillion city. Of course they were once again lost…The gang saved charmander during a heavy rain and brought it to the center for nurse joy to nurse it backed to health to find that the charmander went back to find its mean trainer (sobz…). Therefore, the gang went on their journey to find themselves falling into team rocket’s trap!!! Seems that team rocket racked their brain to build a complicated machine and just as I was about to compliment them…I realized that machine was just to dig holes…(arghh…) luckily, charmander went to save them, fired at his own owner, in the end becoming part of Ash’s group of pokemon. (yay!!!)

Synopsis

Ok...i know that this may be a lame anime for some of you. So you do not need to force yourself to read this..no offense..kae? Cos i don't really dislike this anime, not that I am obsessed with it..I just thought it was quite interesting. For the sake of those who don't know what Pokemon is (which I don't think there is anybody in this world not knowing pokemon, but i writing this for the sake of my blog^^), this show is about a group of teenagers going around the world to either discover, catch, train or just wonder with awe at cute monsters. In their journey, they met lots of obstacles and managed to ovecome them with their Pokemon friends. Throughtout the journey, they met and lost precious friends. That probably sums it all.
