Episode 174 - Break the Mirror's Boundary! Ichigo's Captivity

Here is Bleach 174…

Back from Soul Society, the group gathered at Urahara Shop to discuss the strange happenings since Lurichiyo’s arrival on the real world.

At night, they were then ambushed by the assassins again. Ichigo, Chad and Ishida then split up to deal with the assassins while leaving Inoue and Rukia to protect Lurichiyo, Kenryuu and Enryuu.

Ichigo then fought with an assassin, Nukui Hanza, that he sensed when he was in Soul Society. He was surprised to see Nukui wielding a sword that belonged to another assassin from before. But this time the sword was more powerful, thus able to trap him in the mirror world.

Ichigo then unleashed his reiatsu to try and break the mirror world. However, Nukui tried to attack him before he could succeed. Luckily, Yoruichi came just in time to save Ichigo. It was shown that Ishida, Chad, Rukia and Inoue took care of the other assassins.

Meanwhile, in the Kasumi-Ouji House, Kumoi was trying to make Kannogi Shuu, fiancé of Lurichiyo, the Head of Kasumi-Ooji House. He even killed those that opposed him, making everyone fear and obey him.

Episode 173 - The Appearance of the Great Evil! The Darkness in the House of Kasumioji

Here is Bleach 173…

Lurichiyo managed to return back to her real home secretly so when Kenryuu and Enryuu noticed, it ws too late. It seemed that Lurichiyo returned to join a tea party hosted by her friend.
Kenryuu and Enryuu then sought the help of Ichigo and Rukia to go back to Soul Society to help search for Lurichiyo.

Halfway through the search, Kenryuu and Enryuu got caught in a trap and Rukia bumped into Captain Zaraki and Vice-captain Yachiru.

Only Ichigo successfully found Lurichiyo but she did not want to go home and instead made Ichigo looked like a bad guy.

Lurichiyo then found a little girl who told Lurichiyo to follow her. It was too late when she found out the girl was actually an assassin. Luckily, Ichigo got there in time but was yet mistaken as a bad guy by the guards.

The assassin then took the chance to kill the guards and Lurichiyo. Just then, the wall crumbled and out came Zaraki, Yachiru and Rukia. The assassin was easily finished off by Zaraki.

Lurichiyo then explained why she wanted to come back. Ichigo also realized the hardship the nobles had to go through too.

At the end, Ichigo sensed a strong reiatsu sent by the assassin leader. Looks like a huge battle is coming soon…

Episode 172 - Kifune Goes to War! The Violent Wind that Rages

Episode 172 of Bleach…

This episode focuses on the Third Squad in Soul Society.

Nowadays, the Third Squad was getting simple missions since their previous captain betrayed all of them and many were complaining about the menial tasks they were doing.

However, things were also hanging in the squad. The Third Squad was paying their respect to Captain Amagai and Third seat Kifune. Thus, Kira got a little jealous and went to drink it off.

Unknown to all of them, Captain Amagai was trying to ask the other captains to see if they could get all squads to cooperate with each other.

When Kifune confronted Kira if something was wrong, Kira denied it. Suddenly, they got an alert of a mysterious shadow near the execution grounds and went off to investigate.

At the scene, they saw another Third Squad member, Seko Shinta, who informed them what happened. Then, the ground started to crumble and all three fell into the hole. In the hole, they then met with a bunch of Hollows. When Kira tried to save Seko, Kifune stopped him. It was then Kira learned about Kifune’s bad side.

Just when they were going to fight each other, Captain Amagai appeared. It seems that he had got rid of all the escaped Hollow. They then found out that the Hollows belonged to the Twelve Squad and somebody let out the Hollows. It was implied that Kira suspected Kifune but he was not sure.

At the end, we also catch a glimpse of Lurichiyo sneaking back into her real home.

Episode 171 - Kenryu, the Profusion of Blooming Crimson Flowers

Here is Bleach 171…

After being asked to be kept quiet about Lurichiyo’s situation, Ichigo had a hard time not slipping the truth out to Lurichiyo.

Together they had a day of fun until dinnertime when Ichigo accidentally slipped out some information, causing Lurichiyo to suspect something was wrong. Unable to get more information out of her two bodyguards, she shouted at them and ran away.

When she was walking along the street, she bumped into Inoue. Lurichiyo then told Inoue about her fight with Kenryuu and Enryuu. Inoue then tried to explain that the two males were just trying to protect her.

When Lurichiyo finally understood, she regretted her words and wanted to apologise to Kenryuu and Enryuu. But she was suddenly attacked by another assassin with weird powers.

Inoue tried to fend off his attacks but failed. Luckily, Kenryuu and Enryuu arrived in time to save them. Ichigo and Rukia then rushed towards the enemy but had their swords stucked.

Kenryuu then revealed his Zanpakutō, which was very “cute”, to stop the enemy attacks. Kenryuu’s attack proved to be a little useless but managed to buy enough time from Ichigo and Rukia to get their swords out.

Together, they managed to defeat the assassin. But before they could question him, he committed suicide.

When Lurichiyo saw that Kenryuu and Enryuu got hurt because of her, she decided to forgive them. They, Ichigo, Rukia and Inoue then returned home.

Oblivious to them, another assassin came out and took the previous assassin’s weapon.

The next morning, Lurichiyo was missing!!

Episode 170 - Desperate Struggle Under the Moonlit Night, the Mysterious Assassin and Zanpakutō

I bring to you Bleach 170…

The Princess and her bodyguards started their first day of school. Kenryuu and Enryuu were super-protective over Lurichiyo, staring down on anybody who dared to talk to Lurichiyo.

Back home, Rukia was doubtful about their new neighbours’ motive in town. However, Ichigo told her not to worry and trust Urahara’s decision.

In the night, a new enemy came to assassinate Lurichiyo. The strong reiatsu emanating from Kenryuu woke Rukia and Ichigo up. When they went up to question Kenryuu, the enemy appeared and crashed into Lurichiyo’s house. Kenryuu then left Ichigo and Rukia to deal with the enemy and ran off with Lurichiyo and Enryuu.

Although having difficulty figuring out the enemy’s abilities, Ichigo was finally able to smash his sword away after figuring out his trick. When Ichigo was about to interrogate the assassin, the assassin commited suicide.

Shortly after that, the trio came back and Ichigo demanded an explaination from Kenryuu who finally decided to tell them about Lurichiyo’s situation. Kenryuu then begged Ichigo to help them protect Lurichiyo from future attacks. After much persuasion, Ichigo accepted.

At the end, we caught a glimpse of our new enemy, Kumoi Gyoukaku.

Episode 169 - New Development, the Dangerous Transfer Student Appears!

I bring to you Bleach 169…

Three new characters arrived in town: A princess by the name of Lurichiyo KasumiOuji, a normal Shinigami named Kenryuu and a silent Shinigami named Enryuu.

They seemed to be waiting for their artificial bodies when Lurichiyo got hungry and ran off from her bodyguards.

Meanwhile, Ichigo was having his normal day, if you can call it normal… till he and Rukia received the alert of large amount of Hollows in the town and went off to eliminate them.

While fighting the countless Hollow, Ichigo was interrupted by Lurichiyo. She pestered him for food until her bodyguards spotted her and took her away from Ichigo, leaving Ichigo to fight against the large amount of Hollows following them.

Being crushed, Ichigo revealed his Bankai and destroyed the Hollows easily. But when he turned back to look, the trio were gone.

No matter how much Ichigo and Rukia killed the Hollows, more were coming in. Luckily, they had the help of Ishida, Inoue and Chad, thus getting rid of the Hollows quickly. Ishida then explained that the Hollows were attracted by a bait which was most likely set up by the strange trio.

Back home, Ichigo was surprised that the princess and her bodyguards were moving next door. When Ichigo rushed down for an explanation for the incident just now, all he got was a barrier.

Rukia then traced the artificial bodies collected by the trio to Urahara Shop but she could not pry any information from them either.

The next day at school, Ichigo was more shocked when he realized that the Princess and her bodyguards were studying in the same school and in the same class as him.

Episode 168 - The New Captain Appears! His Name is Shūsuke Amagai

I bring you episode 168 of Bleach. This is the start of a new arc since the author of Bleach, Tite Kubo, has not written enough yet for the Hueco Mundo arc.

So we are now watching an entirely new story! So don’t get mix up with the last arc.

So now I bring to you the start of The New Captain Shūsuke Amagai arc! A brand new story means brand new song! The opening is Chu-Bara by Kelun and the ending is Orange by Lil’B. Enjoy…

Finally, the Third Squad had a new captain. His name was Amagai Shuusuke and he brought along another strong person for the Third Seat, Kifune Makoto.

At first, the shinigamis in the Third Squad were not really sure if their new captain was able to lead them, espacially during the welcoming party when Amagai got drunk after one cup.

Suddenly, the Third Squad got an alert when they need to exterminate the Menos trying to get inside Soul Society.

Without their captain to lead them, Kira had to take charge when Kifune asked for the Seizing Currents to be shut down.

When the Third Squad was busy hacking down the Menos, the Seizing Currents were suddenly activated. And the Cleaners came to life and destroyed the Menos, causing the Shinigamis to run.

However, they could not outrun the Cleaners. Luckily, Captain Amagai came and destroyed the Cleaners easily although he was still drunk. His brave act earned the Third Squad’s respect.

Episode 167 - The Moment of Conclusion, the End of Grimmjow

Here is episode 167 of Bleach…

The fight between Ichigo and Grimmjow continues…

With one big slash, Ichigo dealt a huge blow to Grimmjow. Just when he thought it was over, he was so damm wrong. Grimmjow became more angry and powerful.

With a splash of blood covering the screen, we were brought to Grimmjow’s past of how he from a Hollow became an Adjuchas. But it did not show how he became an Espada.

Back to the present, Grimmjow slashed at Ichigo a lot of times causing Ichigo to lose lots of blood. And then Grimmjow used his ultimate attack, Desgarron.

Then we were brought back to the past. Grimmjow’s followers decided to sacrifice themselves to let his powers scale to greater heights.

Although Grimmjow’s ultimate attack was out, Ichigo’s resolve was firmer as he wanted to protect his friends. He easily broke through Grimmjow’s attack and finished him off.

Finally, Ichigo returned to Inoue and Nel. Both were happy that he was safe, especially Nel.

Episode 166 - Desperate Effort vs. Desperate Effort! The Hollowized Ichigo

Here we have Bleach 166…

After Ichigo was healed by Inoue, Grimmjow challenged him to a duel.

Facing a powerful opponent, Ichigo had no choice but to put on the hollow mask when Grimmjow revealed his true form. However, Inoue was afraid of the hollowfied Ichigo.

The fight continued and not far away, an Espada and her followers were watching the fight. It was stated that being afraid of an Espada’s Resurrection Form was natural.

Back to the fight, Ichigo was able to maintain his mask for a long time unlike before. However, he seems to be suffering more than Grimmjow. Although both were seriously injured, Grimmjow was able to overpower Ichigo just by a little. Slowly, Ichigo’s mask was breaking bit by bit too.

Nel was angry when Inoue was afraid of Ichigo. She started lecturing about how everybody was trying their best for Inoue, especially Ichigo. Inoue then realized that everybody was fighting for her. She then decided to cheer on Ichigo.

Hearing Inoue’s cheer for him, Ichigo was able to stop Grimmjow’s attack with one hand.
