Episode 9 - The Bride of the Forbidden City

I bring to you episode 9 of CG2…

The Black Knights, after negotiating with the Chinese Federation, gained the use of Penglai Island.

However, just as they were settling down on the Island, the Eunuch Generals betrayed them by agreeing to the marriage of Empress Tianzi and the First Prince of Britannia.

Zero, Kallen and Princess Kaguya then interrupted the party that was hosted to celebrate the engagement. Subsequently, Lelouch challenged Schneizel to a game of chess where the winner could get something.

The chess game was exciting and both were excellent and equal in skills. However, the game came to an abrupt halt when Nina came in trying to kill Zero to get revenge for Euphemia.

Unfortunately, the wedding had to go on. However, it was interrupted by Xingke who wanted to fulfill his promise to Empress Tianzi.

Unfortunately, Zero took the chance to grab hold of Empress Tianzi, making Xingke very angry.

At the end, we were shown a chat between V.V and Jeremiah Gottwald. He’s still alive?!!! Wow, this series is getting more exciting!!

Episode 8 - Trace of a Million

Here is episode 8 of CG2…

Everybody was shocked when Zero agreed to join the Special Administrative Region of Japan. Thus, the Knights of Rounds decided to let the Black Knight escaped.

It seems that Viletta was not killed but instead she was forced to cooperate with Zero/Lelouch. Lelouch also promised Rolo that he would protect the academy, the place where Rolo truly belonged. And in turn Rolo trusted Lelouch and helped in with his mission.

Somewhere in Britannia, we met with Nina. She was working under the care of Kanon and Prince Schneizel.

Suzaku and Anya were talking about Suzaku’s past when Zero finally contacted them. Zero agreed to let 1 million people participate in the event. However, there was a condition: Zero would be exiled from the country. As the condition would not harm Britannia, Suzaku agreed.

The day where the Special Administrative Region of Japan would be declared open arrived. As promised, one million people were present.

Suzaku then announced that Zero would be exiled from the country. He was interrupted by the appearance of Zero on the screen. Zero then surprised them by letting the million people all changed into Zero. And since there was an agreement to exile Zero, all of them would be exiled safely from the country.

However, some of the Britannians present took this as a sign of revolt and wanted to attack. Caught in a dilemma, Suzaku quickly made a decision to stop the attack and allow the people to escape.

And once again, Zero/Lelouch managed to save the people. He and Suzaku trusted each other to protect the Japanese with all their might.

Episode 7 - The Discarded Mask

I bring to you episode 7 of CG2…

After hearing that Nunnally wished to govern Area 11 and re-establish the Special Administrative Region of Japan, Lelouch lost his willpower to fight. Since he wanted to fulfill Nunnally’s dreams, he considered throwing away Zero as he would only be an obstacle for Nunnally.

Lelouch lost in his thoughts, wondered around the city, not knowing that Rolo was following right behind him. Lelouch activated his Geass without thinking and used it to control people for fun.

He even wanted to try a drug called Refrain and almost wanted to kiss Kallen. Luckily, she smashed the drug, slapped Lelouch back to his sense and left.

Still dazed from Kallen’s slap, Lelouch was surprised when he found Rolo in front of him. Rolo tried to persuade Lelouch to live a normal life with him.

Then they returned back to school to find everybody gone for the trip. Until they saw fireworks and traced it to the source. Lelouch was touched when he saw that his friends stayed to wait for him. He then remembered all the fun times he had with his friends and made a decision.

He, from now, would not only fight, he would also fight for his friends, for everyone.

Meanwhile Suzaku found the Black Knight’s base and ordered to attack it after a time limit. With no orders from Zero, the Black Knights were at a loss.

Just when hope was about to run out for them, a familiar voice rang: It was Zero! Zero then gave weird orders on how to counterattack. Luckily, the Black Knights trusted him and together they defeated Suzaku’s troops.

At the end, Zero made an announcement to everybody that all Black Knight, including him, would be joining the Special Administrative Region of Japan.

Episode 6 - Pacific Surprise Attack Operation

Episode 6 of CG2…

After learning that Nunnally was to be the new governor of Area 11, Lelouch was shocked but he could not reveal that he knew Nunnally.

Luckily, Rolo helped him out and stopped Suzaku’s time. However there was a catch, Rolo’s Geass could only stop time for 5 seconds.

Within those 5 seconds, Lelouch managed to talk to his sister and told her not to reveal anything for now. After 5 seconds were up, he conversed with Nunnally as a stranger, leading Suzaku to believe he had not gotten back his memories.

After that, Lelouch started planning on how to rescue Nunnally and learned more about V.V.

The rescue day came and the Black Knights were ready to fight. They destroyed the Britannian troops easily, until Lord Guilford and the three Knights of Rounds came.

Meanwhile, Lelouch sneaked into the ship and searched for Nunnally. He was surprised and could not make a decision when Nunnally wished to become the governor.

Back to the battle, Suzaku managed to damage Karen’s Guren seriously and she was in critical danger. However, the Black Knight’s backup team came and sent new parts to Karen.

The new weapons enable her to fight with the Knights of Rounds equally. When only Suzaku was left on the field, the ship that Nunnally and Zero were on was about to blow.

Therefore, both Suzaku and Karen changed their mission to save Nunnally and Zero respectively. Although both were saved, Lelouch was horrified that Nunnally was at ease with the person that betrayed him: Suzaku!!!

Episode 5 - Knight of Rounds

And here with have episode 5 of CG2…

Zero managed to get all the freed Black Knights to believe in him again.

But the main point of this episode was that Kururugi Suzaku had returned to Ashford Academy. (what!!! That traitor that sold Lelouch!!!!) To avoid suspicion, Lelouch had to put on a fake face and greet Suzaku with warmth. Luckily Rolo, confused by Lelouch’s concern, did not give away Lelouch’s cover.

At the government building of Area 11, an intruder sneaked in. He was the Knight of Three, Zino Weinberg, and he was sent to “test” them. Soon, Suzaku arrived and stopped the fight. Anya also came too with her same bored face.

And once again, an event was held to welcome Suzaku. The main attraction? A giant pizza made by a Knightmare.

Unfortunately, things did not go well for Lelouch. First C.C popped out and Lelouch pushed her into a truck full of tomatoes when Shirley came. Then, Kallen came to find C.C and risked getting caught by Kallen. After that, even Suzaku and Millay arrived.

To make things worse, the tomato truck with C.C inside was driven off to make the giant pizza. With Lelouch’s lack of stamina, he could not catch up with it and was forced to use his Geass.

Luckily, his last minutes plans worked. However, the day was not so bad after all. Rolo finally broken down and decided to obey Lelouch. Starting off with telling Lelouch his Geass weakness and maybe the murder of Villetta?

However, the day had not ended or Lelouch. At night, Suzaku met up with him and told him a new governor was coming. Shockingly, the governor was Nunnally.

Episode 4 - The Gallows of Counterattack

Here is episode of CG2…

At the start, we were shown how Rolo lived his life when he was small. After that, we returned to present time on Lelouch and Rolo.

Lelouch managed to convince Rolo to give him time to bring C.C to him, while thinking about how to get rid of him. Meanwhile, Rolo returned to the base when he overheard the people complaining about him killing his own allies.

In the Chinese Federation, due to Zero’s plan, they were finally able to kill the Eunuch General without any suspicion lying on them. Therefore, they decided to work with Zero.

Just then Lelouch came out with the perfect plan to stop the Britannian army from suspecting him while at the same time rescue the captured Black Knights by using the building’s structure to get rid of the army.

Being betrayed, Rolo started chasing Lelouch, however under Lelouch’s devious plan, he managed to convince Rolo that he loved him by blocking an oncoming bullet shooting straight at Rolo. Lelouch’s action confused Rolo about his motives. However, Rolo did not know that Lelouch planned the bullet to be shoot by using Darlton’s son.

With Rolo out of the way temporarily, Lelouch’s plan to rescue the Black Knights was a success.

Episode 3 - The Academy of Imprisonment

Episode 3 of CG2…

Just when Rolo was about to activate his Geass, he received a call from Lelouch and was shocked when he heard that Lelouch was in school and not the one that was giving the speech. In fact the Zero that was giving the speech as C.C.

At school, Lelouch contemplated about what happened to Nunnally. Meanwhile, Rolo was shown to be a spy for Britannia to watch over Lelouch. Somewhere, a war was happening. However when Suzaku came, he eliminated all the enemies. It was also shown that he had become the Knight of Seven. (that traitor!!!)

Once again back to the school, Lelouch was looking through the photo albums when Rolo came. They had suspicion about each other but did not show it. When Lelouch tried to change Rolo’s birthday present to something more manly, Rolo rejected violently. Seems like Rolo was quite attached to the present Lelouch gave him.

When Rolo gave Viletta his report on Lelouch, an officer suddenly interrupted them. Rolo then used his Geass to stop time and killed the officer instantly. It was implied that he killed lots of people already.

Britannia finally made her move: Luring Zero out by threatening to kill his comrades from the war in the last season. Just then, Shirley barged in and complained about her problems. Lelouch then offered Shirley to accompany her to buy Miss Viletta her birthday present, knowing that people would surely follow him.

After buying the present, Lelouch told Shirley that they were being followed. He then suggested a plan and asked Shirley to help him. After successfully manipulate Shirley to help him, Lelouch set his real plan to work: Create Panic!!!

He then managed to lure Rolo out and put a gun to Rolo's head. When Lelouch tried to activate his Geass, Rolo activated his first and turned the situation around.

Episode 2 - Japan Independence Plan

Here we have episode 2 of CG2…

Finally Zero was back! They continued to take over the Tower of Babel easily under Zero’s orders. Zero also revealed what happened to him and Suzaku at the last season. How could Suzaku betray Zero!!! (*angry!!*)

Meanwhile, the Britannian King brought Suzaku to a place where no one except the King had stepped in before. The place that held the weapon that could destroy Gods: Sword of Akasha.

After that Kallen confronted Zero, no I meant Lelouch. Lelouch then managed to convince Kallen about who she was following now.

Just as Zero’s prediction, more Britannian army backup came under the direct orders of Governor Calares. What he did not expect was a prototype machine based on Lancelot to start eliminating his troops easily.

Captain Urabe sacrificed himself to save Lelouch from that machine. Just then, Lelouch activated all the bombs planted in the tower and “commited suicide”. However, only the Britannian Army was destroyed together with Governor Calares.

Zero, with the help of the Chinese Federation, then made an announcement throughout the country, notifying the people that he was back.

In the end, it was shown that Rolo was the pilot of the machine that tried to kill Lelouch. What does the fake brother want? Lelouch’s life…

Episode 1 - The Day the Demon Awakens

Hey here’s the first episode of Code Geass R2, enjoy! This is titled The Day the Demon Awakens.
The episode started off with a brief summary of what happened during the first season. After the rebellion was over, most of the Black Knights were captured. Zero was no where to be found and labeled “dead”

After that, we entered a peaceful scene where no fighting occurred. Surprisingly, C.C was piloting an airship (oh man, why isn’t she dead?…) with the remaining members of Black Knight plotting to destroy something. (We’ll will find out later what they were plotting ^^)

After that, we watched Lelouch being chased by a teacher around the school. For what reason? Apparently he hated physical exercise and decided to skip out of it, enraging his teacher. While using Rivalz as the bait, he rode off with Rolo, supposedly was Lelouch’s brother, in the bike. (ok.. don’t u guys find it creepy that suddenly a brother of Lelouch pops out without anything being mentioned about him in the first season…I think something sinister is going on here. Well, maybe I’m too paranoid…)
After the opening theme, we see Lelouch and Rolo on the road with Lelouch trying to feed Rolo. (ooo…that’s cute, even though I’m suspicious of Rolo ^^) Furthermore, we heard about Lelouch thinking about Zero and the rebellion. That’s not strange. The strange part was that he was narrating like a third person point of view, as if he was not involved. (are they hinting something here?)

After that, there were a few cutscenes of how the Elevens are treated badly now. (stupid Britannians!!!) Even brothers were forced to fight each other for the Britannians’ entertainment. Rolo and Lelouch were disgusted by it. It was also showed that Lelouch and Rolo were quite close too. (where is Nunnally anyway?)

Then the two brothers bumped into Kallen, who was working as a bunny girl waitress. (eh?!!!!) Lelouch as “kind-hearted” as he was, did not blamed Kallen for spilling drinks all over him. However, a damm ugly man, who called himself a Britannian mafia, grabbed her roughly and was almost forced to be his “prostitute”. Luckily, Lelouch came to her rescue by challenging the ugly man to a chess match. (go Lelouch!!! Win him intellectually!!!!)

Next, came out the Black Knights caught by the Britannian’s army. It was showed that they had different opinion of Zero, some blaming him and some sadden by the news of Zero’s death.

We find ourselves back to Lelouch winning the chess game with the Black King. However, the devious ugly man claimed that Lelouch cheated, took out his gun and threaten Lelouch. (damm that guy!!)

Suddenly, the building shakes violently. Kallen took the chance to attack the mafia man. (you go girl!!) And the airship that C.C was piloting in the beginning of the episode started firing at the building. Thus, the ambush of the Elevens on the Britannians started. Several Knightmares started to descend onto the building. Chaos erupted everywhere and innocent people were killed, regardless of race. Lelouch found himself pulled running with Kallen and Rolo following behind him. However, halfway through Lelouch and Rolo separated from Kallen. Somewhere in the building, the Britannians started to fight back.

After the small break, we find ourselves looking at a very pale man (is that make-up?) and his guard (ooo…), who were representing the Chinese Federation. They had a little talk about Zero. (he sure is popular…lolz)

After that, we fund ourselves back to the chaotic building, people were killed everywhere. It was a brutal sight. The Elevens started to send in back up after Kallen lost Lelouch.

Lelouch and Rolo were running to escape when a Knightmare stopped in front of them, holding out its arm as if asking Lelouch to get on. When the Britannian army came and started shooting crazily, the Knightmare protected Lelouch and Rolo. Somewhere else in the building, Kallen prepared for battle.

Lelouch and Rolo found themselves in a warehouse (I think…) after running for a long time. Lelouch was puzzled by the Knightmare that he met just now. Then, Lelouch promised to get Rolo and himself out safely. Suddenly, Lelouch jumped in front of Rolo to prevent him from getting shot and fell down the building. (ahh…stupid guy with gun…spoil the mood!!!)

Somewhere, back in school, it was showed that Shirley still have feelings Lelouch. (^^)

Luckily, Lelouch didn’t die from the fall. (which anime's main character will die at the start of the series anyway…-.-“) Lelouch worried about Rolo and ran up to find him. However, what greeted him was a ground full of dead people. Lelouch was appalled.

Then, he find himself face to face with C.C. (so she decided to come back huh…) She told Lelouch she was an ally and came to save him. Lelouch tempted to find out who he really was, walked towards C.C. However, she was shot by the Britannians. (like she will ever die…)

Then the Britannians soldiers said that they were watching Lelouch for a very long time (stalkers!!!) and he was just a bait to lure C.C out. When Lelouch was about to be shot by them, C.C suddenly kissed him (u kiss-stealer!!!!), making him remember everything about his power and his days as Zero. (who make him forget anyway???) After remembering, he used his Geass to kill the soldiers. (isn’t this the repeat of first ep of Code Geass Season 1…^^)

Then a whole bunch of Knightmares came to get Lelouch, no I meant Zero. It seems that the Britannians are going to get lots of problems from now on. At the end of the episode, it was showed that Suzaku was currently serving under the Britannian’s king.

That’s the end of Episode 1 of Code Geass R2.

Synopsis

Oh Yeah!!!! Finally the second season of Code Geass is finally released. This anime continues from the first season when the creator left lots of mysteries unsolved. Hope this time, everything will be explained. (*smile*) Thos who have not watch Code Geass, I will so totally recommend this anime to you. Why? Cause Lelouch is so damm cute!!! However, I hate the pairing of Lelouch and C.C, hello?...what do you like in this pairing anyway...(no offence to those who are obsessed with that pairing, so don't sue me kae?)

Okok, enough with the babbling, lets get on to the serious stuff. As i have said before, this season continues from the last one. There is a one year difference between the two seasons. However, the characters did not change with some more new characters adding on to the main cast. More info about the characters will come out later. So look out for it.

After the rebellion led by Zero failed, Area 11 was demoted to a Remedial Area territory that is heavily guarded by the Britannians. It is rumored that Zero had died in the rebellion. (No, Lelouch didn't die...more info will be given in ep 1) Without their leader to lead them, lots of the Black Knights are captured and severely punished.
