Episode 20 - Na! My Brother Who Returned!!

I bring to you episode 20 of KR…

Kirari’s big brother, Subaru, came back to town from America, where he was studying to become an idol.

He was shocked and jealous when he realized that Kirari had already become an idol. He then messed up Kirari’s schedule and pretended to be her and went for the interview.

At home, Kirari was busy making a crown for her precious brother until she saw her brother acting as her in the live broadcast. She then went down to catch her brother but instead she was accidentally drenched by cold water, causing her to have a fever.

Subaru was very guilty when he indirectly caused Kirari to fall sick. He was more depressed when he saw the crown made by Kirari.

He then decided to help Kirari complete her work for the next day. However, there was a big problem: He could not sing Kirari’s songs. When he realized that, it was already too late as he was standing in front of a huge audience.

He then gave an excuse that he was sick, which was quite true since Kirari was sick. He was touched when he saw how much care and concern the audience showered on Kirari.

Shortly after, Subaru left for America again but not before apologizing to Kirari for all the trouble he caused.

Episode 19 - Creepy! The Charged Report of Fear

I bring to you episode 19 of KR…

In this episode, Kirari had to act in a film together with Erina. But then they found out that they would have to stay in an old “haunted” hotel. Furthermore, Arashi popped out too.

When they were filming, strange things started happening. The hotel’s owner thus had no choice but to tell the truth about the haunted hotel.

Kirari then decided to change the film from just “a friendship between two girls” to “seek out the ghost”.

However, halfway through the ghost hunting, Erina fell off a cliff and Kirari separated from the group to find Erina.

The filming crew and Arashi rushed back to find help. Rushing back to the hotel, they met with SHIPS.

Meanwhile, with Naa-san’s guide, Kirari managed to find Erina. Erina was a little touched when Kirari helped her. SHIPS then rescued them.

However, Erina’s over-competitiveness came back when a mysterious fog started appearing. They traced it to find Takada producer in a hot spring.

However the strange occurrences in the hotel were not solved. Who were the culprits? It seems like the last three owners of the hotel couldn’t let go of it and came back to visit.

Episode 18 - Kirari…and Sayaka and Miku’s Summer Vacation

Episode 18 of KR…

Summer vacation is finally here! Kirari got a day off and decided to spend it with her friends, Sayaka and Miku. However, Kirari’s fans kept popping out of nowhere destroying their plans.

Kirari then brought her friends to meet SHIPS. Sayaka and Miku saw how different their worlds were from Kirari’s. And they felt distant from Kirari.

Things got worse when the fans started crowding around a store, destroying their business. After safely escaping the store, the three of them had a little fight over Kirari’s preference to her fans or her friends.

When Sayaka and Miku left, Kirari was sad and even cried. Meanwhile, Miku and Sayaka accidentally got hold of Kirari’s notebook from the incident earlier on. They read it and realized Kirari didn’t change at all.

In the end, they all gathered at Kirari’s house to celebrate.

Episode 17 - Heartbeat! The Swimming Meet of Only Idols!!

Episode 17 of KR…

Finally summer is here and the idol’s swimming meet was held.

The idols were separated into two groups of five. The red team consisted of SHIPS, Kirari and two other idols that I did not see participating in any competition during the swimming meet. The white team consisted of Arashi, Erina and Mochi and again two other idols that I did not see participating in any competition.

The first competition was water basketball and the next was treasure hunt. The red team won both easily.

On the third competition: The Obstacle Course, the white team decided to sabotage the red team. However, Naa-san managed to solve all the problems and the red team won again.

In the final round: the swimming relay. Kirari was not confident with herself when she was swimming and wanted to give up. However, she did not want to let everyone down so she with her new determination she managed to swim on. With only a short gap between red and white team, Hiroto’s speed quickly caught up with Arashi’s and won the competition easily.

Episode 16 - All Right! The Troubling Audition!!

I bring to you episode 16 of KR…

In this episode, the famous idol group, Morning Musume or just known as Momosu, was holding an audition to recruit a new member.

Wanting a chance to join the famous idol group, lots of girls attended the audition. Kirari wanted to try it out too.

Among the “sea” of girls, Kirari spotted a girl that was quiet but giving off a noticeable aura. The mysterious girl’s name was Hitomi.

The first test for the audition was picking straw, a test that depends completely on your luck. The second was showcasing your talent. Kirari passed both tests without doing anything at all.

On the third test, nine girls were left. They were required to form groups of three and danced to the music. Because of her cuteness, Kirari was rejected. But then Hitomi asked her to form a team with her, along with Naa-san.

Kirari was nervous when she was dancing but Hitomi taught her how to just relax and have fun.

Suddenly, SHIPS barged into the room. They revealed that the audition was a fake. When the three men tried to escape, Hitomi stopped them. She then revealed herself as Yoshizawa Hitomi, the leader of Momosu.

In the end, everything went fine and the girls forgave the three men.

Episode 14 - Is it Love? Enter the Music Charts!?

Here is episode 15 of KR…

With everyone upset for Kirari’s decision, Kirari tried to clear the misunderstanding. However, the one that did not understand was Kirari.

Kumoi-san then brought Kirari around to see the people around her was working so hard just to promote her new single. After that, Kirari saw the fans that were supporting her. Touched, Kirari decided to work hard for the competition, not for herself but for all the people around her.

The day where the results were revealed had finally come. And who won?!!!!…………

It was SHIPS!!!! (highlight to see answer)

Although Kirari was disappointed, she was glad that her friends had won.

Episode 14 - Is it love? Is it SHIPS? Is it a challenge?

I bring to you episode 14 of KR…

An exciting competition had come up! Kirari’s new song was going against SHIPS’ new song in this heated battle.

With brilliant music producer each by their side, the competition was intense. People started taking sides to who will win.

In order to win this competition, Kirari and SHIPS practiced real hard and would not stop even when they were tired.

As the day to the results neared, more people started taking sides, intensifying the competition.

Not wanting to jeopardise her friendship with SHIPS, Kirari decided to back out of the competition. However, her decision made everyone very upset, especially Hiroto.

Episode 13 - Chu! Dream Kiss!?

Episode 13 of KR…

The filming of the drama continues and Kirari’s acting was natural. However when the kissing scene came up again she could not stop thinking about it. Thus with her mind all occupied, she could not do all her other jobs right.

Worried, Seiji decided to talk with Kirari. Using shortcake as an example, he managed to get through Kirari’s mind and clear her doubts. Kirari was now able to face the kissing scene.

Finally, the dreaded day had come. It was time for the kissing scene. As Hiroto was about to kiss Kirari, the curtain blew and covered them. Only their silhouettes were shown.

So did they actually kiss?^^

Thus the drama had come to an end with a success…

Episode 12 - Ooooh! Drama Date!!

I bring to you episode 12 of KR…

When the director chose Hiroto as the drama’s male lead, everyone was shocked, especially Kirari. She fainted after hearing about the kiss scene too.

Seeing how uncomfortable Kirari was, Hiroto suggested that he switched with Seiji. But Kirari disagreed and wanted to follow the director’s decision.

The first day of acting began. Hiroto was marvelous but Kirari was too unconfident. Thus the director decided to call it a day.

Feeling guilty, Kirari blurted out her problems to Seiji and Hiroto. It seems that she could not understand love thus she couldn’t get into the character of Airi. Seiji then suggested that the three of them go on a date.

However, the three-people date became a normal date when Seiji wandered off to find a wife for his turtle.

Kirari was awkward being together with Hiroto. But she slowly opened up to him. She realized that Hiroto was actually very kind and gentle to her. When she accidentally bumped into a loving young couple, she discovered how to get into Airi’s character.

The second day came and Kirari was confident she would do it right. But she stumbled in the middle of the scene. Improvising, she managed to cover up her mistake. Everyone congratulated her for her good acting.

Episode 11 - What! I'm the Heroine!?

Here’s episode 11 of Kirarin Revolution titled, What! I'm the Heroine!?

In this episode, Kirari has been chosen to act as a lead actress in a drama created by a very famous producer, Takada Pianu. However in the drama, Kirari has to kiss the lead actor. This shocked Kirari as she never kiss or even date anyone before. Thus, she hesitated whether to take on the role of the lead actress. Luckily, Hiroto managed to guide her to her decision and Kirari decided to do it. (haiz…how I wish the two will fall in love..^^)

Unfortunately, another problem popped out. Who is going to be the lead actor? There are three candidates Hiroto, Seiji and Arashi. (yup, Arashi is here too…) The obsessed Arashi is determined to win Kirari’s first kiss and use all sorts of cheap methods to get it. He even hynoptise the producer and change the script. (seriously, Arashi’s script…it sucks…) Luckily, Nayan manages to stop Arashi from doing any further damage.

When the producer snaps out of its trance, he announces who is going to be the lead actor (drum roll pls………)
and it is Hiroto-kun (yay!!! *highlight to see the name...^^)

Episode 10 - Exciting! Transfer to Idol School!!

Here’s episode 10 of Kirarin Revolution.

In this episode, Kirari goes to the idol school where lots of idols study in, including Hiroto and Seiji, as it will be more convenient for her.

Unfortunately, she is in the same class as Erina, who is super jealous of her beauty. When Kirari steps into the class, lots of students were attracted to her. Thus, Erina got a little threatened by Kirari’s popularity. (just buzz off you little girl…and stop hurting Kirari!!!) She then tricked her classmates, Eiko and Meiko, into believing that Kirari is bullying Erina. In order to defend Erina, Eiko and Meiko decided to make Kirari’s school life difficult. However, with support from Na-chan, Hiroto and Seiji, she managed to overcome all the traps set by them and even won the class over to her side.

Synopsis

This story centers around a girl, Kirari Tsukishima, a gluttonous 14 year old girl, who did not really care about the idol world before. Not before, she met Seiji and Hiroto, or called as SHIPS, who is a popular idol group.

Having a huge crush on Seiji, Kirari decided to become a idol to get close to Seiji. This story shows the idol life of Kirari and how she managed to solve all problems with her optimistic personality.

There are 5 opening songs and 9 ending songs in total.
Almost all the opening and ending songs are sang by Koharu Kusumi, with some exceptions where I will put the ‘*’ sign.
