This summary is for Bamboo Blade. This anime talks about Kendo revolving around 5 girls, 2 boys and 1 pathetic teacher. In order to win a bet made with his senior, the teacher had to find a group of kendo girls team to compete in competitions. He was very desperate and was almost reduced to beg girls to join. Just as there was no hope of winning the bet, he met a girl who was a prodigy in Kendo. The story starts from there where the team met lots of obstacles but managed to stay together as one.
The opening song is Bamboo Beat and the ending song is Star Rise both by Ryou Hirohashi. (she is a female...)
