Synopsis

Hey everyone, I bring to you Konjiki no Gash Bell.

Every 1000 years, 100 mamado are sent down to Earth to fight for the position of King in the mamado world. Each mamado has its own special offensive and defensive abilities which can only be activated through a special book of their own, which can only be used by a partner human. The mamado learns spells through experience and some spells need strong emotions from the human partner. If the book is burned, the mamado will then be sent back to the mamado world. The last mamado standing is then crowned as King.

This story centers around the mamado Gash Bell and his human partner, Kiyomaro Takamine. Before Gash Bell met Kiyomaro, he lost his memories, thus forgetting about the mamado fight. He was found by Kiyomaro’s father Seitaro, who sent him to keep an eye on Kiyomaro. Kiyomaro and Gash slowly became inseparable friends and comrades. Now Kiyomaro is caught in the mamado fight together with Gash. He promised to make Gash into a kind king.
